If you want to develop skills, increase emotional intelligence, and awareness then individual therapy could be for you. This one-on-one setting allows your thoughts and experiences to be shared more intimately and delicately all while being supported and challenged. Individual therapy can help map out your specific goals so that you can feel more prepared for life transitions that come your way. It's not necessary to have a "problem" to attend because we are here to listen without judgment. We can focus on your needs and gain specific tools for self-improvement to create a life with purpose.

Relationship Therapy
Relationships are the building blocks for human existence and can be difficult to navigate with family, friends, dating, marriage, and open structures. We can be a passenger on your journey to work through life stressors and communication blocks with the evidence-based model of Gottman Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy and relational tools. A relationship takes work and through counseling, we value accountability for change. We are directive, strength-based, and provide skills in and out of sessions to work as a team. Throughout the process, your therapist will create a place of safety and support to express barriers and needs when working with unique relationships.

Trauma Therapy
Trauma can be unique and specific to anyone, but for men and people of color it often goes overlooked. Perhaps it's that “stuck” feeling that will not go away, or a specific memory that is played on repeat, or that undesired mood or behavior. Trauma therapy can help explore and process the deeper roots of negative experiences. In Accelerated Resolution Therapy (A.R.T) we use this non-traditional and evidence-based treatment to target distressful images and memories stored in the brain and body with eye movements causing relaxation. Trauma therapy is a process, and your therapist will be compassionate throughout each step at your pace.
